Marriage Celebrant

As a certified Marriage Celebrant, my role is to make sure your wedding meets New Zealand's legal requirements. But I offer so much more! 
Pre-wedding, I'll explain the process and provide advice on meeting legal requirements, so all you have to think about is what to say on the day. I'll spend time getting to know you, share personalised suggestions for readings, vows and local recommendations, and work together to create a ceremony flow to suit your location, style and audience.
On the day, I'll welcome guests, calm any nerves, officiate the marriage and guide you seamlessly through the day - doing my best to make it a day to remember.
Post-wedding, I'll make sure the legal boxes are ticked and submit the paperwork to register your marriage in NZ, so you can focus on the good stuff - wedded bliss and the honeymoon!

Whether that means travelling to new places, providing suggestions for venues, eateries or local suppliers, incorporating a tradition or cultural ritual, or trying something that's never been done before, I'm keen to make it work and would love to hear your ideas.

Pricing

I understand that budget is one of the key factors to consider when planning your wedding, elopement or vow renewal ceremony.

To make things as easy as possible, my pricing and packages are available upfront, laid out as clearly and transparently as possible, and designed to help you choose the option that's best for you.

There are no hidden costs - what you see is what you get!

All packages include unlimited guest numbers and any size bridal party.

Once you've booked, I'll share a written contract to seal the deal and follow up any communication by email, so you've got written confirmation of what's been agreed and can rest assured that you've got a 'rock solid' officiant locked in, that you can depend on and trust to make your day one to remember.

Packages

I'm happy to travel anywhere for your special day.

Travel for rehearsals and ceremonies within the Queenstown Lakes region, up to 50km total, is included in all wedding and elopement packages. Any travel further than 50km will incur additional mileage costs priced at standard NZ IRD-approved mileage  rates.

For travel further afield within NZ, flights and accommodation costs are additional.

If you're planning a heli-wedding, I'm happy to lock in a back-up date for you at a rate of $100, so you don't need to worry about rescheduling for weather.

And, for those of you wanting to hike into the great outdoors to  celebrate your love in nature, any extra time is charged at $100/hour.
